Westcon steel cutting services - Florø
The department is located at Kolstøneset on Karmøy and offers large dry docks and mechanical workshops. Westcon Karmsund carries out service and maintenance on vessels up to 20 000 dwt.
The dry dock is a key asset at our yard, enabling efficient service and repairs for fishing and offshore vessels from Norway, the Shetland Islands, the Faroe Islands, and Scotland. Our mechanical workshop supports these operations by performing repairs and fabricating new machine components for vessels in dock.

Westcon Helgeland was established in 1987, and the yard comprises two large dry docks, - one covered, extensive fabrication halls, and a proper deep-water quay.
Westcon Helgeland delivers custom-built products in steel, stainless steel, and aluminium, based on customer drawings and specifications. We have supplied underwater constructions to major clients like Aker and Aibel, and are actively working to become prequalified for additional customers.
