MS ”QUANTUS” delivered from our shipyard in Ølensvåg, and has sailed towards its home port in Scotland.
QUANTUS is a pelagic trawler, 76 meters long with a maximum breadth of 15.8 meters. «Quantus» will be the next generation fishing vessel
We are very pleased that M.V. Quantus Limited and Peter and J. Johnstone Limited chose Westcon to build the vessel. This is in line with Westcon's commitment to delivering quality vessels to quality shipping companies.
Westcon Yards has decades of experience in building fishing vessels and offshore vessels. In addition, the shipyard, with locations in Ølen, Karmsund, Florø, and Helgeland, is a leader in the North Sea for conversions and repairs of ships and rigs. At these locations, Westcon has invested more than 500 million NOK in upgrades in recent years to further strengthen its position in traditional markets such as fisheries, industry, and defense.
