ISPS Port Facility – Westcon

Westcon is certified as an ISPS Port Facility, and complies fully with the security measures outlined in the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.

This means we maintain strict access control procedures and monitor all supplies and goods entering the yard and going onboard ISPS-classified ships and rigs.

Access Requirements:

• Valid Westcon ID Card – All personnel must carry a visible, valid Westcon ID card at all times within the yard and onboard vessels.
• Vehicle Access – All vehicles must have a valid “Kjøreseddel” (driving permit) to enter the facility.
• Arrival Information – ISPS arrival procedures and documentation can be downloaded from the attachment section at the bottom of this page.

These measures are in place to ensure the safety and security of all operations, personnel, and assets within the port facility.

Reporting in SafeSeaNet

All vessels must register mandatory arrival and departure information in SafeSeaNet Norway. This information is forwarded to individual Norwegian authorities and ports in accordance with national regulations. SafeSeaNet Norway complies with EU Directives 2002/59 and 2010/65.
