We are developing the Dommersnes Industrial Area as an assembly area for offshore wind, both for floating and bottom-fixed foundations. The area, which is up to 530 acres in size, has dimensions that make it suitable for supporting larger offshore wind developments, and has previously been used for the Ekofisk wall and Hywind Tampen. Westcon can provide services in the area of lifting technology, electrical and automation, as well as steel and equipment work from its own companies and in collaboration with partners

Our yards can take on most tasks for prototypes/demo projects for new offshore wind concepts, as well as carry out operation and maintenance.
