Multi-purpose hall

Westcon Yard’s Ølen has a multi-purpose hall which is 5 200 square meters and includes top modern facilities for several departments, such as:

• Storage – a new storage system has made the logistics and operations more efficient. Hundreds of thousands of components are stored and handled
• Mounting hall with two traverse cranes that can lift 160 tons up to 20 meters
• Pipe workshop – the pipe department in the hall covers over 3 000 square meters
• Prefabrication steel: We manufacture steel structures in connection with industry and manufacturing
• Turbo department
• Machine shop

Westcon Yards have streamlined the logistics and operation of storage in the multi-purpose hall, where hundreds of thousands of components are stored and handled.

Recycling center

The recycling center is Westcon’s biggest environmental effort ever. The 3 600 square meters large building includes three halls for:

• Painting
• Maintenance
• Waste management
• Sorting of hazardous waste

The recycling center is heated by recycled heat, and there is 100 percent control of emissions to air and land when it comes to environmentally hazardous waste. This is also positive for customers' overall environmental impact.
